‘…a humane, contemporary architecture of depth and significance.’

Denis Byrne Architects are an architectural design practice that works in various sectors, at all scales, across different stages from the initial generation of ideas through to the completed artefact. Founded by Dr Denis Byrne MRIAI, MRIBA in 1998, our committed team of architects are based in the heart of Dublin’s north inner-city. Our qualities have been recognised by national and international awards.

All projects are pursued within the wider parameters of our environmental and social concerns. Working with our clients, we aim to harness appropriate modern technologies and proven sustainable design principles to the eternal qualities of light and space to produce a humane, contemporary architecture of depth and significance.

In addition to residential and commercial projects, our work encompasses education, culture, tourism and interpretative design. We are also active in the wider planning environment, on strategic reviews, feasibility studies, master plans and on urban and landscape design projects.

Our client list is varied and includes private clients, the public sector, commercial organisations, cultural and educational institutions, charitable bodies and the tourism sector. We have expertise in working with historic buildings and are registered with the RIAI as an Accredited Practice in Conservation (Grade III). Our comprehensive client services include all stages of the design and construction process.
